Excitement and joy filled the air at MIK Orphanage Foundation in Kyarwiru Cell, Hoima East City Division, as the children gathered to receive a special delivery – boxes brimming with educational materials donated by WQS Recruitment Services.

Home to over 70 children who have been orphaned or abandoned, the orphanage depends on the generosity of donors to meet the basic needs and educational resources essential for the children’s growth and learning.

As the children eagerly opened the boxes, their faces lit up with pure delight. Inside, they found brand new notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and even some treats. The children immediately began testing out their new supplies, giggling with joy as they scribbled on the fresh pages of their notebooks.

These educational materials from WQS Recruitment Services will significantly impact the lives of these children. With the right tools and resources, they can focus on their studies and work towards a brighter future.

Micheal Musinguzi, General Manager of Q-Sourcing Servtec Uganda, highlighted the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty. “Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. These children now have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills they need to become productive members of society,” he said.

Micheal explained that Q-Sourcing Servtec regularly donates to the MIK Orphanage Foundation at the beginning of each school term, providing scholastic materials and other essentials based on the orphanage’s needs. He expressed hope that these contributions would inspire the children to study hard and envision a future where they too can become employers and lead better lives. He also mentioned their commitment to collaborating with partners to ensure access to clean water for the orphanage. This initiative underscores Q-Sourcing Servtec’s dedication to supporting the orphanage’s long-term well-being and development.

Sophie Kamugasa, the founder of MIK Orphanage, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the generosity of WQS Recruitment Services. “Without the support of well-wishers, the children would not have access to basic necessities, let alone the educational materials they need to succeed,” she said.

With these new supplies, the children are filled with hope for the future and a renewed determination to excel in school. The support from WQS Recruitment Services has provided essential learning tools and instilled a sense of possibility and optimism in the hearts of the children at MIK Orphanage Foundation.
